WOMEN

HOPE

VISION

Our passion. Women who are deep in their journey of life – needing that encouragement and direction along the way.  We all need uplifting kindness and comfort while growing through very difficult situations. Our diversified team offers to equip girls, young ladies and women to achieve their full potential.

It is our desire to take this outreach program global - to network with women working together for positive change. Our goal is to advance our communities to a safer and healthier environment for mothers, sisters, and daughters.

We are embarking on this journey to guide women in correctional facilities, workhouses, battered and abused women shelters and teen mothers. In our workshops, we plan to impart wisdom in all areas of life.

THIS OUTREACH MINISTRY CONSISTS OF A TEAM OF 5 EXPERIENCED WOMEN

Brenda

I began my journey as a survivor of physical, mental and sexual abuse. I have learned how to stay safe and have acquired a gift of discernment protecting myself and others from harm. I survived in an abusive relationship for 7 years.

Now with fifteen years of experience in this field, my passion is to embolden women to overcome obstacles, acquire proper skill sets that correspond with their individual gifting, and help them flourish in their individuality. I believe we can find diamonds from difficulties.

Jean

I'm blessed to be in this circle of Christian friends. I believe my gift is what I have and still am learning on my journey with grief. Not a thing had prepared me for the sudden loss of our only child.  Nothing made any sense for a very long time. 9 years ago I finally turned to God. I also began attending grief support. These two key elements have significantly impacted my healing, and strengthened my marriage of 37 years.

Now after years of meeting others  who have suffered loss — sharing tears and listening to hearts, I offer to mourn with those who mourn, and celebrate healing in the process.

Bianca Franks

Parent Advocate

I began my journey in family advocacy as a mother advocating for her children. My son was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4 and my daughter was 8 years old at the time. So began a journey of emotional battles and victories within the school system, doctors office, childcare and society as a whole with the odds stacked against me. I was a single low income mother that most of society had counted out. But I am determined to have my children receive services and an education to have the foundation for a wonderful future.

Upon that experience I began to share my skill set with other parents who wanted more for their children and didn't know who or how to ask. I will admit in doing so I have learned much more than I've ever taught. Therefore I am still rooted in the belief that it takes a village. I would be honored to be part of your village. Be Blessed.

jacqueline

I'm Jackie, the middle daughter of Ms. Brenda. I have two beautiful children; a 9 year old boy and 4 year old girl. I have always been a very adventurous, outgoing, encouraging and loving person. My role as a confidence builder and advocate is to uplift young women so their self worth is realized and valued. I equip women to continually push toward greatness.

Independent Living Skills

I am a wife, mother & grandmother, who has managed my life through many trials and tribulations, through hard times and good times.  I was married at 18 years of age and by 21 I had two sons. I realized at 30 years of age I was in a very abusive marriage and had to leave. During this time I was able to manage a cleaning business and go to school for travel.  I have been in the travel industry for over 25 years and am now married to a wonderful man.

I have mentored women coming out of prison, abusive relationships and addictions for the past 15 years.  I am a firm believer in developing personal relationships with the purpose of coming along side women who are needing encouragement and guidance in living successful & purposeful lives.
